VISIONS OF HOPE FOUNDATION PRAISES HELPS AT DSWD'S EASE OF DOING BUSINESS KICK-OFF ACTIVITY

During the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month Kick-Off Activity on May 5, 2025, Dr. John Marcel E. Tabije, Officer-in-Charge of the Visions of Hope Foundation, Inc. (VOHF), shared a compelling testimonial at the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City highlighting VOHF’s positive experience with the Harmonized Electronic License and Permit System (HELPS), underscoring its impact on their operations.

“Since the DSWD is covered by the EODB, the agency is mandated to streamline its processes, simplify requirements, and ensure timely delivery of their services. This process directly impacts our organization that interacts with the DSWD because our adherence to ease of doing business principles constitute a more efficient and accountable operation of SWDAs like us and be accountable to people that we serve,” Dr. Tabije highlighted.

On behalf of VOHF, Dr. Tabije expressed his gratitude to the Standards Bureau (SB) for its efficient and effective handling of their Public Solicitation Permit application through the HELPSystem. The Bureau facilitated VOHF’s application in just two (2) working days.

The conduct of this activity is in line with Proclamation No. 818 issued by the Office of the President, ARTA Memorandum Circular No. 2025-01, and ARTA Advisory No. 2025-011 bearing this year’s theme: “Red Tape to Red Carpet: Better Business Movement in a Bagong Pilipinas.
