DSWD STRENGTHENS REGULATORY SERVICES THROUGH COMPREHENSIVE STAFF TRAINING

Dedicated personnel from the Standards Bureau (SB), along with staff from the Standards Section (SS) across various Field Offices, concluded an intensive training program designed to significantly enhance their capabilities in delivering vital regulatory services held from June 24 to 27, 2025 at the Patio by Balai Norte in La Union.
This four-day workshop provided participants with in-depth knowledge and practical skills as public servants and process implementers, enabling them to more effectively implement social welfare and development programs and services relative to regulatory services.
The event commenced with a series of insightful remarks from DSWD officials – Field Office 1 Assistant Regional Director for Operations (ARDO) Anniely J. Ferrer extended a warm welcome to the participants. Following her, SB Assistant Bureau Director Cynthia V. Ilano provided opening remarks, setting the tone for the training. Capping off the introductory session, Assistant Secretary for Regulatory Services, and Institutional Development Group (RSIDG) Janet P. Armas delivered inspiring remarks, emphasizing the role of the attendees in upholding the Department’s standards.
This training initiative underscores the DSWD’s commitment to continuous professional development and its dedication to providing high-quality, compliant social welfare services to the Filipino people.
