The Standards Bureau (SB) participated in the Standards and Capacity Building Group (SCBG) Integrated Program Review and Evaluation Workshop (PREW) held from December 9 to 11, 2024 for its year-end assessment and review at the La Casa Blanca de Vigan Hotel in Vigan City, Ilocos Norte.

The primary goal of the workshop was to enhance the monitoring and evaluation frameworks for the SB’s initiatives. Throughout the event, attendees critically evaluated the year’s progress concerning their commitments, discussing the results framework, highlighting significant accomplishments, addressing challenges encountered during the calendar year 2024 and looking forward to performing and accomplishing the CY2025 targets with great vigor.

Key topics included the review and evaluation of centralization, the finalization of the DPCRF and OPCRF for 2025, a recap of 2024 achievements and best practices, insights from the centralization review, the indicative Work and Financial Plan (WFP) for 2025, and ways forward.

Under the leadership of Undersecretary for SCBG Denise Florence Bernos-Bragas, MD, RSW, participants included Assistant Secretary for SCBG Janet P. Armas, SB Director Atty. Megan Therese Y. Manahan, and SWIDB Director Justin Batocabe. Attendees also comprised personnel from the OUSSCBG, OASSCBG, SWIDB, Standards Bureau, and DSWD Field Office I.
