RELAUNCHING OF DSWD REGULATORY ESERVICES
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) announced on Tuesday, September 13, that the online platform for the registration and licensing of Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs) and accreditation of social welfare development programs and services is now open following the re-launching of the enhanced DSWD Regulatory eServices.
The enhanced DSWD Regulatory eServices allow the SWDAs to submit applications including the documentary requirements and receive real-time updates on their application. Data validations are also included to ensure less chance of human error and only accurate information is being stored.
SWDAs and other service providers may register through https://regulatory.dswd.gov.ph/
To see how the platform works, Secretary Erwin T. Tulfo personally navigated the actual online process of registration of a SWDA account.
In his message, the Secretary lauded the DSWD Standards Bureau and the Information and Communications Technology Management Service for spearheading the enhancement of the online platform that is part of the efforts of the Department in the institutionalization of digitalization in the delivery of social protection programs.
“The enhanced DSWD Regulatory eServices will be used as our centralized database and will help us streamline the process of generating reports, monitoring of status, profiling, and filing of application of Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs). This is one of our initiatives towards the achievement of digital transformation in the delivery of basic services and in consideration of the national health emergency where physical distancing is highly recommended,” he added.
The Secretary also commended and recognized the vital roles of the SWDAs in the delivery of social welfare services to the Filipinos.
“You are our partners in bringing the government closer to the people by delivering the much-needed social services to the poor, vulnerable, and disadvantaged sectors in our country. Malaki po ang naitutulong po at naiaambag po ninyo para maparating po ang serbisyo ng DSWD sa mga kababayan po natin sa mga malalayong lugar, sa mga geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas. We need you (You have contributed a lot so that DSWD services can reach our countrymen in the remote areas, in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas. We need you),” said Secretary Tulfo.
With the enhancement of the DSWD Regulatory eServices, the Department aims to ensure the accuracy of the data and information on the Registration, Licensing and Accreditation (RLA) of SWDAs as well as to provide SWDAs and Non-Government Organizations (NOGs) access to the regulatory services of the Agency through the use of digital platforms.
