DSWD CEREMONIAL SIGNING OF THE REVISED IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8971 OR THE "SOLO PARENTS WELFARE ACT OF 2000"

The Standards Bureau (SB), headed by Atty. Justin Caesar Anthony D. Batocabe, Director IV attended the DSWD Ceremonial Signing of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 8972 or the “Solo Parents Welfare Act of 2000”, recently held in Diamond Hotel, Manila last September 29, 2022. The said event led by Secretary Erwin T. Tulfo, was attended and participated by various government agencies and Federations of Solo Parents.

As member of the DSWD’s technical working group, SB was actively involved in the drafting of the said IRR. Alongside Director Batocabe were Undersecretary for Operations Group Jerico Francis L. Javier, Undersecretary of Standards Capacity Building Group (SCBG) Denise Florence B. Bragas, MD, FPAFP, Assistant Bureau Director Cynthia V. Ilano, Atty. Edgar Allan L. Pamis, Program Management Bureau (PMB) Director Maricel A. Deloria, and PMB Division Chief Miramel Laxa.
