Shining a Light on Excellence: Recognizing Outstanding Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWAs) and Auxiliary SWDAs for CY 2023

The Search for Outstanding SWAs and Auxiliary SWDAs is an annual activity of the Standards Bureau which aims to recognize the Social Welfare and Development Agencies’ (SWDAs) exemplary provision of social protection, programs, and services to the disadvantaged sectors of society, and to provide them with incentives for compliance and quality performance. For the year 2023, the Awarding Ceremony was conducted on December 6, 2023 at Cinema 4, SM Novaliches, Quezon City. The activity was attended by fifty-two (52) attendees consisting of SWDA awardees, representatives from DSWD OBSUs, and Field Offices with Assistant Secretary Janet P. Armas of the Standards and Capacity Building Group as the lead of the activity.
