The Standards Bureau (SB), in partnership with the DSWD Academy, conducted a total of nine (9) Pre-Marriage Orientation and Counseling (PMOC) Training during the 1st quarter of the year. Cities from the following Regions: NCR, III, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, V, XI, and XII were facilitated.
The conducted activity strengthened participants’ competencies in pre-marriage counseling and supported their compliance with DSWD MC No. 20, s. 2024 towards their accreditation as Pre-Marriage Counselors.
This is a significant step toward ensuring the delivery of quality, consistent, and standardized pre-marriage counseling services across the country, ultimately contributing to stronger and more resilient Filipino families. (JACM)
