ARTA Honors Standards Bureau Staff as RIA Champions
The Standards Bureau (SB) proudly recognizes its personnel for completing the Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) training under the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) last December 2025.
The RIA champions, Ms. Bennizh Kyle G. Vail and Ms. Rainelda Q. Contado, were awarded during the 4th Annual ENRICH on December 4, 2025 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.
Along with other personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Ms. Vail and Ms. Contado underwent a 3-day training course wherein they were able to identify a regulatory problem, formulate policy objectives and alternatives, diagnose stakeholders, conduct Benefit-Cost Analysis, and draft the Preliminary Impact Statement.
The RIA champions’ chosen case study was about the Issuance of Certificate of Registration, License, and Accreditation to Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs) through the DSWD HELPS or Harmonized Electronic License and Permit System.
The activity aims to recognize over 193 public servants from 40 government offices who have successfully completed the RIA training. (MGCBA)
