DON'T FALL IN LINE, GO ONLINE!
Driving toward efficiency, the Standards Bureau (SB) hits the road to deliver seamless regulatory services by conducting the DSWD HELPS or Harmonized Electronic License and Permit System Roadshow in ten regions across the country for the third quarter of 2025.
From August to September 2025, the DSWD HELPS Roadshow rolled out across multiple areas including Regions III (August 14-15), XI (August 11-15), X (August 18-22), IX (September 1-5), CARAGA (September 7-9), VI (September 11-12), , and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) (September 17-19).
The roadshow aims to provide hands-on training to Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs) to process their online application through the DSWD HELPS, the Department’s digital platform for registration, licensing, accreditation, public solicitation, and certification for duty-exempt importation.
SB Director Atty. Megan Therese Y. Manahan emphasized the Department’s dedication to simplifying processes while maintaining quality standards. “We put in a lot of effort toward the development of the DSWD HELPS in order to make it easier and user-friendly for our stakeholders. Even if we simplified the process for the SWDAs, we
are very strong with regard to monitoring and enforcement.”
The diligent staff of the Bureau provided participants with detailed guidance on documentary requirements, account creation, online application, and submission of complete and compliant documents through DSWD HELPS.
The DSWD HELPS is in line with the “PASPAS Serbisyo Program” of the Department for digital transformation, aiming to make social welfare services faster, more efficient, and client-focused by digitalizing and streamlining processes. (MGCBA)
